This is a research study of the values, attitudes, problems and semantic differentials of 5000 youth in the age group of 14 to 26 years. The sample consisted of a wide cross-section of youth, boys, and girls, rich and poor, educated and illiterate, married and unmarried, urban, semi-urban and rural students, employed and unemployed, Hindu, Christian and Muslim Youth.
This study is an attempt to understand the youth at a deeper level and seek ways and means to gear the various youth programmes and services so that they will meet the real need of the modern Indian youth
